A corneal abrasion is a scratch on the eye’s cornea which can be caused by a number of things. For example; if you poke your eye or something gets trapped under your eyelid, like dust, an abrasion can occur. A corneal abrasion will often cause discomfort, redness, & sensitivity to light.

Conjunctivitis is inflammation of the conjunctiva, the outermost layer of the eye and the inner surface of the eyelids. It is most commonly due to an infection or an allergic reaction.
Computer Vision Syndrome describes a group of eye and vision-related problems that result from prolonged computer use. Many individuals experience temporary eye discomfort and vision problems (e.g. headaches, eye strain, stiff neck) when viewing a computer screen for extended periods. The level of discomfort appears to increase with the amount of computer use.
A chalazion is a lump of the lid that is caused by obstruction of the drainage duct of an oil gland within the upper or lower eyelid. These bumps may progress in size over time and can also be occompanied by pain and redness.
The aqueous humour is the clear, watery fluid that fills the complex space in the front of the eye which is bounded at the front by the cornea and at the rear by the iris.
Eye floaters are spots in your vision. Eye flashes sometimes appear as flickering lights or lightning streaks. Under normal circumstances, they are absolutely nothing to worry about.
Strabismus is a disorder in which the two eyes do not line up in the same direction and therefore do not look in the same place at the same time.
