Cataracts

A cataract is a clouding of the lens of the eye that can impair vision.

Types of cataracts include:

  • A subcapsular cataract – Cataracts that affect the back of the lens
  • A nuclear cataract – Cataracts that affect the center of the lens
  • A cortical cataract – Cataracts that affect the edges of the lens
